Summer is over (oh hey, snow) and the Sunday farmer's market has ended. Don't fret! We carry some of the items from local producers who were at the market in our shop, so you can devour their delicious items all year long. One of our favorite market tables is Nummy Nibbles. Don't Wait for Tuesday to Make These Tacos

Don't Wait for Tuesday to Make These Tacos

We have a new item in the shop and we're in LOVE.

Made in Colorado, these blue corn tortillas from Bolder Chips are here to change up your taco game. The owners work with the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe at the base of the legendary Sleeping Ute Mountain to source their corn exclusively from their land. Honoring the centuries old tradition, they use a mill fitted with volcanic plates to grind the corn into a wet masa which is then pressed into tortillas. The circles are partially cooked, so that you can finish them up at home for a super fresh taste. They make some seriously good tacos.

To celebrate this new item, we are dishing out our tried and true carne adovado taco recipe. Check it out HERE.

Want some out-of-the-box taco ideas? We've got 'em! Here are a few of our favorite taco combos:

  • Secret Aardvark jerk chicken thighs with cabbage slaw
  • Grilled fish with chermoula, baby spinach and ricotta salata
  • Harissa lamb with yogurt sauce
  • Pan roasted mushrooms and super greens with Halloumi cheese Green Belly sauce

We are Now a Babette's Drop-Off Location!

We've been needing a Babette's bread hook up, and now we've got it.

Made in Longmont, you can now order Babette's bread and pick it up easily at our shop. A dough that's made with minimally process flour so that it retains all of the good nutrients and flavors, Babette's country loaf is perfectly crusty, chewy, and flavorful, all in one. Place an order HERE and pick up the bread at our shop on Sundays between noon and 5pm.

There is no wrong way to eat this bread, but we especially love it slathered with nice butter or served with Camembert. Drooling yet? Place an order for a Sunday pickup by Friday at noon each week.

Pierogis: The Weeknight Hack We All Need

Pierogis: The Weeknight Hack We All Need

Handmade pierogi are the weeknight meal we all need.

Made in Colorado, these pierogi come in a handful of delicious flavors. Grab a pack in the shop and check out our favorite ways to turn them into a meal with delicious flavor combos.

French Onion Pierogis
Made specifically for our shop, this comforting flavor is made with our favorite melting cheese, Scharfe Maxx, and caramelized onions. It's French onion soup in dumpling form.

Try floating these in soup or pan frying and and adding some beef demi-glace for a quick and delicious meal.

Tomato Basil Pierogi

Italian meets Polish in this delicious pierogi. Serve these on their own or toss with marinara and fresh basil.

Chile Relleno Pierogis

A southwestern twist on the classic polish pierogi, these are filled with roasted hatch green chiles, Monterey jack cheese and black pepper. Serve them smothered with the Mama Montoya's green chile that we keep in our freezer section.

Potato Cheese Pierogis
This is the traditional version with potatoes and cheese. You can get creative with this flavor or serve them the standard way with sour cream and caramelized onion.
