The World's Best Cheese is in the Shop!

For the first time ever, a United States cheese has been crowned the Best Cheese in the World at the World Cheese Awards! That calls for a celebration. And how does one celebrate? By eating the cheese, of course!

Rogue Creamery's Rogue River Blue has received greatest honor a cheese can receive and it totally deserves it. Oregon's Rogue River Blue is only made in the fall when the cow's milk is at its best. Each wheel is then aged for 9 to 11 months in their caves and is wrapped in Syrah grape leaves that have been soaked in pear liqueur. Then every September, the cheese is released to the world, so award or not, it is truly Rogue River Blue season. Try it served with honey, dried fruit and your favorite crackers. It only comes out once a year, so come get some while it lasts!
