Support Cheesemakers with a Victory Cheese Box

Support Cheesemakers with a Victory Cheese Box

We love American cheese
And we would be so sad if it went away. The COVID-19 crisis is devastating the American cheese industry, from dairy farmers and cheesemakers to distributors, restaurants, and cheese counters across the country. A grassroots collection of cheese professionals – including cheesemakers, mongers, chefs, and cheese guilds from across the country – came together to find ways to help our struggling industry – creating the Victory Cheese Box.

Like the Victory Garden movement of a by-gone era, the Victory Cheese Box is a call for cheese lovers to choose domestically-produced artisan cheese. Each cheese in this box supports a local community or family and reflects a commitment to quality in farming, cheesemaking, and deliciousness in every bite.  In addition to supporting cheesemakers by purchasing their product, we'll donate an additional $10 from each box to our Covid-19 charity fund that is helping to support food related charities.

Each St. Kilian's Victory Cheese Box varies, but we'll select a range of 3-4 cheeses from some our favorite American producers and you'll receive 1 to 1.5 lbs of cheese in total, plus our Redcamper collaboration Mostarda.  If you have any special requests or omissions let us know in the notes on your order, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

In addition to getting delicious cheese, you'll also be supporting great producers during an especially challenging time. Together, let's step up to celebrate and support American cheese.

The Victory box is available now and can be ordered for shipping, pickup or delivery to with our new improved delivery service with scheduled deliveries 7 days a week and a larger area of coverage.

The Good Jar: The Ingredient Your Bloody Mary is Missing

The Good Jar: The Ingredient Your Bloody Mary is Missing

You've put pickles with your Bloody Mary and charcuterie or cheese boards, but what about dilly beans or pickled asparagus? Well, it's time to try it! Sourcing produce from local farmers has always been one of the main priorities for Colorado-based company, The Good Jar. They love supporting local farms, large and small, which helps shrink the carbon footprint of our company while remaining economical. Depending on the product, 60 to 100 percent of The Good Jar’s produce is locally sourced from our great state. Be sure to check out their items in our shop and more relishes and pickles on their site here.

As a retail outlet in the food world, we are so lucky that we are able to remain open and serve you. We are also fortunate that we get to support small producers by selling their items in our shops.

Dinner is Served: Spring Gnocchi Meal Kit

Dinner is Served: Spring Gnocchi Meal Kit

Ask and you shall receive. We had a customer this past weekend ask for more recipes, so we came up with this spring gnocchi dish and decided to turn it into a meal kit. Now you can simply order the kit and we will grab all the items for you and have your dinner ingredients ready for you to pick up. This dish is the perfect mix of cozy, filling flavors with bright pops of spring mixed in.

Peas, lemon, a creamy cheese sauce, sharp pecorino and optional speck makes this frozen gnocchi anything but ordinary. Click HERE to order a meal kit and check out the recipe below.

Be sure to use the code "SHOPLOCAL" for 5% off of your order and we will donate 10% to local charities supporting the food industry.

  • Pecorino Romano Fulvi
  • Salt and pepper, to taste (not included in the meal kit)
  • Speck, optional

  4. Stir in Auricchio cheese and thin to desired consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. Once the sauce is combined, toss with gnocchi and speck, if using.
  6. Serve the gnocchi with a squeeze of lemon juice, black pepper and a grating of pecorino.
Soft Pretzels are Here!

Soft Pretzels are Here!

We are now carrying On Tap Kitchen's soft pretzels! This local company was born to make quality snacks for Colorado breweries and then grew up to challenge the prevailing notion that crunchy pretzels are always bland. They source as many ingredients as they can from Colorado and make fun flavors to tantalize your tastebuds. Their Original Salted Pretzels even won a 2020 Good Food Award, recognizing their pretzels' pure tastiness as well as their prioritization of sustainability and quality in our sourcing and manufacturing! Check out the flavors we carry here .

They are now offering soft pretzels in our freezer section that you can take home and bake for fresh, soft pretzels. (Time to finally use that pretzel emoji!) The soft pretzels are sold by the half dozen and come with baking instructions. Serve them warm with toppings of your choice: salt, cinnamon sugar, cheese and more! Check them out here.
