An elegant blue cheese from La Casearia in Italy's Veneto region, created by Antonio Carpenedo in 2011 to celebrate 50 years of marriage to his wife Giuseppina. This award-winning cow's milk cheese beautifully marries the bold character of blue cheese with romance and innovation.
Aged for a minimum of three months, Blue 61 is then matured with Raboso Passito wine and studded with cranberries in the rind, creating a striking appearance reminiscent of an artisan dessert. The result is a creamy, sophisticated blue with rich fruity notes and a harmonious balance of intense and sweet flavors—a true meditation cheese.
St. Kilian's is small family owned specialty market in Denver, Colorado. The owners Jon and Veronica have spent the last 14+ years seeking about the very best foods from around the work and around the corner. Our store is filled with our favorite foods with a special emphasis on cheese, charcuterie and Italian Imports.
We're excited to offer a large assortment from our retail store for online ordering. Please keep in mind that we are primarily a retail store and while we do our best to accurately represent all of our products online, nothing can replace the service of our expert cheesemongers in person. We encourage you to contact us directly if you cannot find what you're looking for or have any questions about our product offerings. Here's a couple of things to keep in mind when ordering online
SHIPPING (BASED ON ACTUAL CARRIER RATES)
We offer nationwide shipping on the majority of our in-store products, we primarily utilize UPS for most services and you can see our prices and options at checkout.
Since many of our products are perishable we package orders in temperature controlled boxes to minimize the amount of time products are out of ideal temperatures, many require expedited shipping services, and we cannot ship certain highly perishable items like raw meats and meal kits, to ensure product quality. If you place an order for perishable items later in the week we may hold your order until Monday to ensure you shipment doesn't sit over a long weekend in a truck or warehouse.
